Eat Your Leafy Greens
Are greens such as kale, collards, bok choy and broccoli a large part of your present diet? Greens are connected to spring and the refreshing energy of the sun so making them a part of your daily nourishment increases the light within you. Greens are great for lifting your spirit and eliminating depression. They are rich in iron, magnesium, potassium, calcium and many other nutrients. When you eat more greens, your body will have an internal smile.
Blend Your Leafy Greens with Your Favourite Fruit
Blending is a simple, effective, time efficient way to receive live food and all of that food's nutrients into your body. The nutrients contained in blends are easily absorbed and retained, which makes it an excellent substitute for your morning coffee.
This is one of my favourite greens: KALE
Kale is one of the top 10 healthiest foods you can eat. One cup of kale contains more than 5 grams of fibre (more than a serving of oat bran cereal) but only 43 calories. That same cup provides the daily requirement for vitamins A and C and 134 milligrams of calcium.
